Carolyn Freeman Champ holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from University of North Texas, and has completed two national tours with BRAVVO! Productions, performing in their popular USO musical, IN THE MOOD.

Stage credits include PIPPIN (Fastrada), THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL (Marguerite), JOSEPH & THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT (Narrator), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Audrey), NINE (Claudia), NUNSENSE (Sister Amnesia and Sister Robert Anne, respectively), HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING (Hedy LaRue), RUTHLESS! (Judy Denmark), GODSPELL (Peggy), JUDY’S SCARY LITTLE CHRISTMAS (Ethel Merman), Gilbert & Sullivan’s IOLANTHE (Fairy Queen), and roles in SOUND OF MUSIC (Cabrillo Music Theatre), SWEENEY TODD (Morgan-Wixson), LA CAGE AUX FOLLES (Knightsbridge), WEST SIDE STORY, DAMN YANKEES, A CHORUS LINE, GUYS & DOLLS, and GYPSY- among others.

Carolyn moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and worked as a background artist, making multiple appearances in The Drew Carey Show, Ally McBeal, Just Shoot Me, Dharma & Greg, Charmed, X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Strong Medicine.

Carolyn is currently involved with the Academy for New Musical Theatre (ANMT) in North Hollywood, through which she has performed in several original works, as well as a one-person cabaret at the MBar in Hollywood. She has had additional training from The Broadway Co, an intensive one-on-one workshop with veteran Broadway stage performers.

Carolyn also performs voice over work, having trained at Kalmenson & Kalmenson Voice Casting and Voice Over Workshops in Burbank, CA and records audio books as a volunteer with Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic®.

Carolyn currently resides in the San Fernando Valley.
